Press release 2010-02-26 Preera ranked as the ninth best management consulting firm in Sweden
For the third consecutive year, Swedish consulting firm Preera showed up as one of the top ten Management Consulting firms in Sweden. The list, published by the financial magazine “Veckans Affärer”, was released on February 26th, and after two years in tenth place, Preera had this year advanced to place number nine. Preera, who last year opened a new office in Stockholm, and right now are recruiting new talents are very joyful about this new evidence of their alternative approach facing an increasingly wide interest and recognition. The ranking of Veckans Affärer is based on the views of 309 consultant buyers at positions president, vice president, CFO, CIO, Marketing Manager, IT Manager or general counsel from firms with a turnover of at least half a billion SEK, and at least 100 employees. For the third consecutive year, the Swedish consulting firm Preera settled in among the American giants on the list. This year in ninth place, which is one step up on the list, compared to the two previous years. "Our approach takes into account both structural and cultural aspects, achieving real difference and a lasting change together with our customers. We are very pleased and proud that the results that we are creating yet again are reflected in the ranking of Veckans Affärer", says Julia Norinder, CEO of Preera "The fact that we are actually advancing one step on the top-ten list this year is a nice proof of our customers appreciation of Preera’s quest to challenge the prevailing traditional structures in the Management Consulting industry. One might for example think that equality between men and women in the workplace should be a standard today. However, we unfortunately know that there are still a conspicuous absence of women in higher positions in the major part of our industry. At Preera, we are convinced that gender equality and mixed team of consultants is the best path to success", says Julia Norinder. Climbing the chart is not the only thing that creates confidence about the future at Preera these days. As early as last fall, the company challenged the recession by strengthening its presence in Stockholm through a new office. An increasing demand from the customers led on to the fact that Preera is now also growing through new recruitments. "We intend to climb further, both on this chart and in our own development and therefore we look forward to the new energy that new recruitments tend to bring", says Julia Norinder
