”There is room at the top in Gothenburg for another razor-sharp advertising agency” After seven years as an average agency, Preera has taken the decision to set a new and more audacious course in the future. Under the new name of Frank & Earnest, we intend to start our journey towards a top position among Gothenburg’s agencies. “There is room at the top in Gothenburg for another razor-sharp advertising agency,” is the comment made by CEO Zoltan Illes. “At Frank & Earnest we have the prerequisites to become just such an agency. We have made a new start with new employees, new working methods and masses of vibrant energy. We have also appointed a new Creative Director whose task will entail raising the level of creativity up a few notches.” Today, the agency has assignments commissioned by Chalmers University of Technology, Universeum (Sweden’s national science discovery centre) and Volvo Car Corporation. New names on the client list are Yamaha Music Instruments and the pharmaceutical company Resmed. The question now is obviously just how important is a new name in gaining wider recognition on the market? “We are a reasonably sized advertising agency, by Gothenburg’s standards, but we are not particularly well-known, which is partly due to our name and our organizational construction. Under the name Preera, we were not solely an advertising agency, but also a firm of management consultants and that has contributed to creating a somewhat blurry image of us. We shall still be sharing the company and premises with the consultancy business operations and this works excellently. We are involved in each other’s assignments and share a very exciting contact network. However, outwardly it is advantageous to be perceived as purely and simply an advertising agency!” The official launching date of Frank & Earnest is 24 November and the event will be celebrated with a huge party at which there will be about 300 guests, a popular band on stage and the champagne will be flowing.
