Multiple Perspective Assessment

Preera Consulting Learns from the Outside In & Inside Out

"The most common way we use Cultural Values Assessments is to help our clients create a mirror in which to see themselves and to provide a common language to enable dialogues that transform. The questions we use are, more or less, the standard ones focusing on personal values, current culture and desired culture.

A real eye- and mind-opener came when we got an assignment with a client organization that had severe problems with their customer satisfaction. They scored 50% average customer satisfaction on their CSI surveys. We knew something was not right so we initiated a CVA as an initial diagnosis to create the mirror and language. The results really surprised us! 6% entropy, 5 matches PV-CC-DC and yet 3 more matches CC and DC. So at a first glance everything looked great. It would have been easy to stop there and say! "Keep up the good work".

But as we knew that their clients didn't seem to be satisfied, we made a twist to the survey. We included the customers in the CVA. The design was standard but we captured whether the respondent was customer or co-worker. And when we looked at the results from the customer perspective, a whole new story unveiled! 6 limiting values in CC and an overall cultural entropy of 41%!..."
